Shipping Information?


My products are sent out via An Post for smaller orders and via package/parcel post for medium & larger orders, which will be recorded upon arrival at the destination.


Rep of Ireland


                          - Tiered shipping rates in place (maximum rate is €6.50)

                           - Orders shipped with courier delivery €7 (cutoff for orders is before 10.00)

Normal shipping within Ireland is up to 5 working days and up to 13 working days for delivery overseas.


Orders placed before 14.00 (Irish time) will be normally shipped the same day via normal post (handmade items, Pet ID Tags or during busy times shipments may be delayed) *courier post cutoff is before 10.00


Orders placed over the weekend are normally processed the next working day 

Please note there are 3 stages to the order process, you will receive an email for each time it is changed. That way you will always be kept up to date about your order and you will know when to expect it. 

1. Awaiting Fulfillment -This is standard from once you have placed your order (Handmade items will take longer please read description per product as they can differ a lot)

2. Awaiting Shipment - This means your order has been processed .  This does not mean shipped yet, that will be the final step

3. Shipped this means that your order has been placed into my out tray for collection from my courier or will be posted later in the day at the local Post Office. 


Payment Methods?

Paypal: This process will take all known credit cards and you do not need to have a Paypal account to use it, please call me with any issues.

Postal Order: Your payment made via postal order will need to be received before I ship your goods to you. Please address to Best Friends World and not Cash payment.

Telephone Payments via Card:

"This service is only available if you are known or recommended to me or if you have a minimum of  3 verified orders previously placed.  A receipt of payment will be sent with your order.  Please text 086 855 0906 if you need any help. Once your order has been placed I will call you in a quieter area to take your card details for payment."

*For security any credit needed for goods will only be returned onto the card that originally paid for the order.


How to size/measure your pet?

There are 3 measurements that need to be taken when sizing for dog clothes:

*The Chest Measurement* – using a tape measure or string, measure the chest at its broadest point (this is usually directly behind the front legs).

*The Neck Size* – measure the circumference of your pet’s neck as you would for a collar. Ensure that this is not too tight (you should be able to get two fingers behind the measuring tape) before noting the measurement.

*The Body Length* – Measure from the base of your pet’s head (where the collar normally sits) along the backbone to the base of the tail (the point where the tail begins).

*Leg Length* – Measure from the point where the collar usually sits, straight down to the paws. (Although this measurement is not as important as the others, it will give an indication of how far down garments, such as hoodies, will fall on the legs).

Please note that it is not advisable to buy dog clothing based on breed or weight, I therefore recommend that you measure your pet correctly to ensure an accurate fit.  Also please see sizing charts for the different brands of clothing & accessories or contact me to discuss your requirements.

Do you engrave your Pet ID Tags?

All my Dog and Cat ID Tags are durable and long lasting, available in a variety of shapes, colours and sizes.  As with all Pet ID tags if swimming with them on they will wear down quicker.  I engrave all my tags using a diamond drag as this I feel gives the nicest finish.

Note: Your text will be engraved in UPPERCASE. The more information you require the smaller the text will have to be to fit all the information on the back of the tags.

Dog Identification
Dogs must at all times wear a collar that bears the name and the address of the owner inscribed on it or on a plate, badge or disc. Failure to have identification on a dog can result in an on-the-spot fine issued by a dog warden. Failure to pay this fine within a specific period can result in prosecution by your local authority.  See Here

I purchase my products from reputable suppliers who pride themselves in superior craftsmanship. I do however make several Bespoke items. I also make ribbon side release dog collars and leads in a variety of fun designs. A minimum amount of these products are available in my shop and are also made to order.

Am I open during the Christmas Season?

I'm closed from 24th December until Jan (date will be confirmed) but online orders will go out ASAP once placed during that time.  Just call 086 855 0906 to reach me and leave a message or send a text and I will call you back.
